Take up singing. It's never too late. Music making is a creative
activity which is emotionally satisfying and intellectually stimulating. Studies have shown that singers produce endophins,
the feel-good hormones, so your mood will improve as well! Singing also helps with ashthma sufferers, in teaching strong deep
breathing, and speakers, who need to use their voices more effectively in presentations and public speaking.
I am an experienced performer, who also teaches. I am a fully qualified
teacher and have a thriving private practice. I teach basic techniques such as posture, breathing, vocal production and performing.
I encourage performances and arrange opportunities for my pupils.
I teach all vocal styles and encourage pupils to perform their tastes in music whilst introducing
new styles in my lessons, to widen their musical knowledge and experience. I teach all levels: children, adults, beginners
and more experienced singers. I have 100% pass rate at Associated Board examinations with many distinctions! Two current pupils
are members of the National Youth choir and previous pupils have won places to Cambridge University (choral scholar), BRIT
academy, Italia Conti and music theatre courses.
I also run singing and Elizabethan workshops. For more details Contact me
